Miss Dolly

Miss Dolly

Miss Dolly is a circus play about the aerial and Korean cradle.

On stage: 4 characters, Dolly, John, a girl and Jimmy.

A few snippets of American drawl in a TENNESSEE Williams style western and a fine hunting horn song.

« Miss Dolly has not been on tour since summer 2018, the girl must have found her horse...

and Dolly no longer likes apples ! »

SCENE I

Almost involuntary flying bodies.

Absurd fervour.

Indifference to death.

Unfinished words.

A horse.

With them, apples, humour, acrobatics, rancour, tenacity, a slightly worn love story and a horse that is still being looked for.

SCENE II

Endless desert suspended mid-air.

Just a squeaking sound.

Silence.

The horizon.

They stare into space...

SCENE III

John: - Do you still love me? -

Jimmy finds a gun and doesn’t understand.

Girl: - I’ve lost my horse... -

She takes Dolly’s hands and jumps.
